Welcome to ROOT's Wiki

Running Out of Time....

Because of the threat to the future posed by climate change, and in order to express our appreciation for the bounty and beauty of nature, we have formed a group of committed citzens and proudly pledge to reduce our overall consumption of natural resources by 30% during the next twelve months.

Did you know?  Curtains can prevent 10% to 25% heat loss in a room.  Installing thick, well-padded curtains can make any room warmer and more comfortable.

New Information in "General Consumption" (go to side bar on upper right).  "10 of the Worst Corporate Criminals to Avoid."  These are the companies that you should avoid at all costs.  Evolved and informed people don't give their money to companies that mistreat people and the planet.  It's as simple as that.

PROJECT "JUST SAY NO TO STYROFOAM". Polystyrene is an environmental nightmare and carcenogen. We need to make our objections to filling our soil, water and our bodies with this material heard. ROOTs member, Jan Russell, is coordinating this project. Report your take-backs and comments to merchants to Jan at rf422@aol.com. We will post more about the problems with polystyrene and our progress on this site in the near future.**
